Re: Need help identifying type of noise
Whenever you buy something, Google "complaints." In general I like Behringer products, but this one has one shortcoming that would prevent me from buying one. Microphone Phantom Power The label on this product makes you think you're getting true 48v power, and it takes, in my opinion, too ...

Re: "installing" or opening
That's the key right there. The web pages for that device go on for pages about encrypting your work so if you lose the drive, nobody can ever see your work. So no, they will not be WAV and AVIs. They will probably be 256 AES encrypted data files. Do you still have the instructions that came with it...

It doesn't normally want to. .dat files created a number of problems for us in email attachments. If one side of a transact...

Re: Unable to Record in Stereo with Audio Interface
The mixer had each input channel as 'centered'. But that would have given you a "real" mono mix. Didn't you say you had Left sound on both sides of the show? Anything you plugged into Right (or 4) just vanished. Thankfully I can now return the two adapters back at RadioShack and get my $1...

Re: Reducing the size of a wav file
If they're stereo, you can resave them as mono and get almost a 2:1 reduction that way. Of course, that's not the original show any more, but if the original show is two-track mono, then that particular conversion is "free" and easily reversible. This is where you tell us all about the sho...

Re: Best way to edit squeaks from live music recording
after removing the squeak, there was nothing left. Then you may have done it wrong. That's not one of the common adjustment errors. Did you make the collection of squeaks and make sure there were no other sounds in the collection? In my experience "free-run" instrument sounds tend to have...

Re: Why do the mp3's I make through audacity have muffled so
There's a huge, very serious hole there between those two sentences. You can't directly connect those two microphones to a computer. How did you do it? Detail description or part numbers....Shure sm57 and sm58 mics. When I export...
