Re: How to change input to ME-25

Please stop saying that.
How about "Doesn't support ASIO in the shipped version" and a link to the compiling instructions.

Where are the compiling instructions?

Re: Record multiple users on several computers

Record each person on their own local Audacity and call each other on a cell conference call. The ratty phone voice is only used for coordination. Each person Exports and sends their own voice track to a central computer for integration into one complete, high-quality show. You will end up with sync...

Re: Help Recording with a Mic, Laptop, and Headphones

Thanks for the list of alternatives and details. We have to keep track of which platform you're on and that can get into the weeds pretty quickly. Most alternatives are only available for Windows.

Re: How to change input to ME-25

Is it available in Windows control panels? That's half the battle right there. Audacity gets its services from Windows.

That could also mean nobody has ever tried a bi-directional pattern or those that did tossed the imbalance off...

Re: a question about a karaoke!!!

You can Do this using either of the two methods 1.) Envelope tool 2.) Amplify effect. All of these tools work on everything playing. There's no way to split the instruments apart and only amplify one of them. It's a frequently asked question. "I made a live recording at a concert and the Alto ...

We have to cover the bases.

The purpose of Chains is to automate repetitive tasks. Can you make a good recording without Chains?

Re: Keys

I'm going to read between the lines. You need a special key because you have other sound production software running at the same time on your computer. That's probably a bad idea because Audacity doesn't share it's sound channels very well. It's the same reason that Audacity doesn't always like to r...
