Re: I can'tget started

See if you can select your USB mixer in the Audacity Device Toolbar.

If you see some incomprehensible name you don't recognize, see if it goes away when you unplug the mixer. Also plug the mixer in and then start Audacity.

Use the Time Shift Tool (two sideways black arrows) to push one track earlier and later with respect to the other (attached)....

Re: Meeting ACX Requirements w/ Audacity

I guess the next action item is to record a clip from your new studio including a 3-second Room Tone gap. I'll take it through the ACX process and see where we get to. Try not to gulp or shuffle (or check your FaceBook) during those gaps. Last one I could hear you doing something in the background. ...

Re: advice needed in finding subliminal message.

Audacity only edits audio.

If you have a video viewer that subsamples frames, you can literally see a very slightly different show every time you watch, so yes, that can be pretty annoying.

saving all editions as I went. Actually, I think you were saving one edition as you went. If you crank this project up again, save each significant version as its own project 2014-08-22-1800.aup That's the project as of 6PM today. The next time you save, increment the time and/or date and create a ...
