Re: Recommended USB microphone?
It's the microphone I used for the design and it is the microphone I used in the C building which needed the directional pattern. In the A Building conference rooms, I used slightly older Radio Shack omni-directional dynamic microphones. Same plywood. Same black paint. No batteries. We didn't have e...

Re: Not working in iMac mavericks

Re: Not working in iMac mavericks
The older iMac probably had a Stereo Line-In like the connection on the left. http://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/MacLineIn.jpg The new ones don't have that anymore. USB microphone adapter. Do all the Behringer 6, 0, and 20 lights (on the right) come on when you play audio or announce?

Re: Meeting ACX Requirements w/ Audacity
OK. I ran that last clip through an experimental regimen and wrote everything down as I did it. It did require pushing things around a bit to make all the numbers work (you did still have a little popping in there). We'll see what everybody else thinks. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/clips/BlackRack...

I'm working on a parallel task to yours. We never codified a testing process for someone who produced a perfect reading. We got lost in the weeds of "What Happens If..." "What happens if the reading is perfect" wasn't in the list. It's not useful to dig through pages of damage so...
