Re: Recording equipment for voice
Particularly if the "reviews" appear to be copy and pastes of each other. "Never has the sound world been so excited about the introduction...." There is one possible problem with negative reviews. You need to weed out the ones written by somebody attempting to use the product or...

Re: Introducing periods of silence
I'm reading between the lines. If the original five seconds was really a pause when someone stopped talking, then the Room Tone or natural room noises will still be there. Re: Introducing periods of silence
Place your cursor in the middle of the pause and Generate > Silence: pick a duration the amount you want it to increase. > Enter.
For example, to get to 90 seconds, generate a new silence clip of 85 seconds.

You should upgrade to 2.0.5. Earlier versions can have instabilities.

Re: Gaps in recovered project
You're dead. Audacity saves work as LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT....... If Audacity halts, it can lose one or more segments and not always an even number. Did you notice that the singers or instruments have reversed left to right? If you find yourself thrashing a very complicated project, save a whole new ...

Re: Mini Jack extensions and splitters. Noise problem
I read that three times and I never got the goal. What's the goal and how is your normal setup interfering with that goal? How are you recording game sound? Did you get your ins and outs mixed up? Many posters have the problem of combining live microphone with game sound, usually throwing in Skype o...

In general, look in Windows Control Panels and see where Windows is trying to send your show. That USB thing is the most common.

Re: import and edit files from itunes
iTunes is reported to be the place where they put the Apple Developer newbies. No other part of the Apple environment changes so radically and so inexplicably and for no good reason without having its basic job change. In general you can pay for the removal of Fair Play copy protection by purchasing...
