Re: Meeting ACX Requirements w/ Audacity

Right then. Part of the application of Steve's Limiter is following it with Effect > Amplify to -3? Or is that only if I'm preparing client delivery? I accepted the latest submission and ran it through what I perceive to be the accepted process, and I got the -60 noise and the -3 peaks in good order...

Re: How to Bass Boost a song?

Does it actually show clipping, or does it show really dense waves up at 0dB?

Re: HELP! Tracks Grayed Out And Can't Be Unmuted!

Orphan Blocks is a bad sign. You can run Audacity in two different ways. There is a mode where Audacity uses external sound and music files right where they are. When their turn in the song comes, Audacity goes out, opens them up, uses them and then puts them back to bed. The advantage of this is sp...

Re: Recording has feedback noise in it

Hiss is deadly to remove particularly on music. On voices you can play timing tricks and hide some hiss behind that, but music is a problem. Your only option is with the UCA222 (or other variations and makers). The mixer instructions keep insisting you should be able to get the tunes from the USB sy...
