A quick terminology note. That little sound adapter is associated with the words "Stereo" and "Mono." That's not how it's used here. I'm using the property of two electrical connections on one side and three on the other. There is no stereo.

There are Gain (voice volume) and Pattern settings on the rear of the microphone. The pattern for most uses should be #3 Cardioid or Kidney pattern.
