Re: Complete Layman Needs Help Removing Hiss and Clicks
You would't be able to attach the whole show. The forum only allows a few seconds of test recordings or clips. You can work wonders in Photoshop by making use of a fuzzy clone tool and the fact that nobody can correctly identify each leaf on a tree. It's a lot more of a problem in sound. Unless you ...

Re: Audacity for games.
Audacity doesn't work well when it tries to record programs that take over computer sound like games and Skype. Isn't there a setting in FRAPS to record your microphone?

Re: audio cleaning reduce background volume sounds
You can assume no. You are number 4. The Four Horsemen of Audio Recording (reliable, time-tested ways to kill your show) -- 1. Re: Anyone have Audio Technica AT2005USB?
Also I noticed in the link you posted there is a sound sample. I didn't review the entire review. I scanned through it and it specifically (and correctly) addressed many if not all of the concerns I have about using this microphone. Microphone "quality" usually isn't as much of a concern ...

Re: AU Files Opening Corrupt
The intention is you not even be aware of the little AU files, so right away we're in trouble. And no, they're not all sound. What's supposed to happen is you double click on the Project Manager AUP text file and the AUP file goes out and assembles your show from the contents of the _DATA folder. Pr...

Recording streaming can be an adventure because newer computers make it harder and harder. It's not a guaranteed service.
