Re: How can I correct this? (Need help on this b4 Wednesday)

If it's too big, the system usually just says so, and that's pretty common. http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=72887 If your internet connection is aggressively non-symmetrical like mine is, then yes, it could take a while to upload stuff. And just to shortcut things a little, Au...

Re: Help! Blue Yeti high pitch noise

I think I'm figuring out how this works. The microphones (and it's always microphones) that try to use the USB five volts either "raw" or minimally filtered have frying mosquitoes in the sound. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/clips/FryingMosquitoes3.wav That clip was taken with a $13 extern...

Re: Any quality loss in amplifying multiple times?

Audacity works at 44100 sample rate and if you change speed enough, you could push some of the work beyond audibility and it may not come back. Re: extract clips from CD

So now he has downloaded the MP3s from the website to his computer and is ready to break them up into clips for promotion. Did I hit it?

Re: Moving audacity files from one computer to another

Just one chapter of this ACX title is 442.5 MB
That would take me a while to upload, too. How long is the chapter in minutes?

Re: Moving audacity files from one computer to another

That's too many failures. Apple (above left) > About this Mac. I'm using OS-X version 10.9.5. What do you have? Close. Go (top of the screen) > Utilities > Disk Utility. Select the System Disk > Verify Disk. When that finishes (assuming it passes) > Repair Permissions. While you're in there, read Ca...

Re: How to turn off usic

You can silence a track by selecting MUTE to the left of the blue waves.

Re: Undo won't work

Most tools only work from Stop. If you try it from Pause, it may not work.
