Nobody cares about the 44.1/48 shift, although I would have guessed the systems would automatically know about that. If you were forced to manually compensate for it, that may be a problem rig...

Upper left-hand corner? (Attached).
That display will change if you have something selected on the desktop. Click on a bare portion of the desktop.

Re: low volume and hum using mic

Do Not post stereo WAV on the forum. You will only be able to get about 5 seconds of work in if you do and we don't need it.

Re: low volume and hum using mic

but my voice records on both channels.
That's close to the bottom of concerns. If you can get one good track somehow, we can make everything else. Almost all of my stuff is shot mono and delivered "stereo" to the show editors because I know that's what they're expecting.

Re: Need Help With Getting My Yeti To Work For Me.

You can simply get closer to the Yeti and help with this. Bring the microphone to within 8 inches or so (or closer. Experiment.) and push it off to the side so you don't start popping your P sounds like this. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/clips/PPopping.mp3 If you can make the microphone look down ...

Re: Need Help With Getting My Yeti To Work For Me.

thank you so much for the help I haven't helped much yet. There's a difference between two channel and "stereo." It's not unusual to get a microphone to appear on two different Audacity tracks. I have a couple of microphones that can do that. But when you compare the two sets of blue wave...

John Williams can make proper orchestration apparent any torr vacuum. That's one reason he's so popular.

Re: stereo recording only in 2 track mono

Both left & Right indicate the same levels when only one input is connected. However, the Left is remarkable higher than the right
It's.....what? I'm going to stop reading that. It's making my head hurt.

What happens to recordings when you only plug in the Left signal?

Re: Need Help With Getting My Yeti To Work For Me.

Audacity doesn't directly support the stereo tools in the Yeti. So if you got it to work in mono, that's a good as it gets.
