If you post enough times without trying to sell us anything, the forum moderation will go away and your postings will appear immediately. I need to go back and read that again.

Re: Audacity 2.0.6 Windows 7, problems with multitrack (over

It's possible to wander off in several directions. Do you mean "Track 2" as in the right channel of a stereo capture, or "Track 2" as in the first overdub timeline of a sound-on-sound session? You should be capturing the microphones as mono. One bouncing red bar and one line of b...

Re: Audio is silenced after crash. Plz help.

Missed a step. Are you using Audacity 2.0.6 and is the Mac using OS-X 10.10.x (Yosemite)?

Re: Audio is silenced after crash. Plz help.

Were you editing a copy of the original sound file? Can't you go back to the copy and pick up where you left off?
How many tracks and how long was the show in minutes? Had you gotten to save at least one Project before it crashed? Did you save a Project before you started editing?

Re: [v 2.0.6] How to record a single application's sound?

We know about Voicemeeter, but not in combination with all the other packages and drivers. I think I'm going to have to lie down for a minute. So you need to run: Audacity, Voicemeeter, Virtual Audio Cable drivers, Teamspeak, FRAPS, or you might use Shadowplay if you have a GeForce video card. And w...

Re: mixing

while listening to them make adjustments. Also known as real time processing. Unless somebody corrects me, you'd be doing that in separate steps. Make an adjustment. Listen to it. Make another adjustment. Listen to it. If you were full-on overdubbing with a hardware mixer, then yes, you can make re...

Sure. We recommend Pamela and FRAPS and they're both money-based software packages.
How did you do it?

Re: mixing

Audacity doesn't do anything in real time. It's a future program feature.

"Can I get Audacity to filter my voice while I sing?"

Ummm. No.

Re: Static noise with multiple USB microphones

I'm much more concerned with the lack of problem repeatability. Developers call those "Moon Phase Problems." When the moon is quarter full and the temperature is above 20C, something evil happens—and only then. The problems didn't go away. They're just resting. The fact the microphone seem...

Re: How to fix or listen to broken m4a voice memo file

Did you check that QuickTime has export options? You may be able to get QuickTime to convert the work into something that will slide right into Audacity instead of trying to painfully force Audacity to open an odd format (click on the pix).
