Man, this is rough to see. Two panels to the right of the microphone it says 1(mono) recording channel. That's where your second channel is going.
You can set it right there with the pull-down, or
Audacity > Edit > Preferences > Devices > Recording > Channels: (2) Stereo.

Re: Credible Voice Changing Effect Recipes
Exactly. ..exclaimed the voice actor, theatrically. Even if we do come up with a vitamin pill to change you into someone else, you'll have the voice part but not the acting part. I'm a bass. I once played both male and female parts through pure acting. It kind of freaked the producer. He wasn't rea...

Re: Cannot hear other voice when recording
You have a festival of diagnostic tools available. When you plug your headphones into the tape machine, do you get the left-right ping-pong effect and do both of the tape machine's sound meters work left, right, left, right? Plug the headphones into the UCA202. You may need to switch the MONITOR on,...

Re: Shrink MP3 file
I want to make them small enough to load on one of my websites Just to be sparkling clear, you will not be loading "them" on another drive or your web site. You will be loading a lower quality version of "them." MP3 works are brittle and all you can do is listen to them or maybe...

Re: Credible Voice Changing Effect Recipes
I'm sure it's been requested to pieces. By producers desperate to avoid hiring voice actors. The effects thing is more complex than you think. The single pile of effects is the correction. One system was a hierarchical listing of effects with layers and sub pages. This immediately killed those of u...

Re: cable needed
according your instructions What instructions? Point to an address. As a fuzzy rule, you can't connect a stand-alone tape machine to a Windows laptop. In some special machines, you can get it to work poorly, and some machine actually have a blue stereo Line-In connection, but it's not normal. You s...
