You can make Audacity "auto flip" to the current screen on Record, but not Playback. Someone will correct me, but that's a feature request.

Windows Enhanced Services naturally assumes that any sustained tones or sounds are noise and tries to cancel them out. When it's working right, it lets you talk in a noisy room. It hates music.

It sounds like high voice compression, MP3 damage (same thing) or bad noise removal. Now we should listen to it before you tried to fix it. I'm guessing we're listening to your fix distortion, not the voices.

You used Noise Removal on that last clip right? That's how you got the noise level so low? The original clip you sent sounded natural and human with normal mistakes.
