Re: Audiobook - Small Sample - Welsh voice
I need to wait a bit before listening critically. If we do the patching, we can frequently do a better job with less processing. It's also possible that it's OK almost as it is and you're trying too hard. Nose Reduction recipes get tossed around like walnut-fudge recipes and sometimes you just don't...

Re: Help! Blue Yeti high pitch noise
That's a finished isolator. Been there, done that. The HiFimeDIY isolator we bought for $30 has no serious provision to keep hash on the supply lines away from the USB device (microphone, etc). All it does is make sure you don't fry yourself if your USB device accidentally "goes hot" sever...

Audacity 2.1.0, VLC, QuickTime X and QuickTime 7 all fail.

Re: AUP File corrupted on save
13.5 hours is the cutoff, I think. Or some number in there. Audacity would have "started over" and flushed the old show. I think 13.5 is based on 16-bit and it's earlier if you're using a higher bit depth. Someone will correct me. Audacity is not a surveillance program. It's possible that ...

https://www.circuitsathome.com/products-page/usb-interfaces So for only about the cost of your microphone (after adding power supply, cables and shipping and not counting assembly and testing), you can have a working Yeti. Neither of us bought one of these yet. $48 usd is a little steep for a casual...

Re: Help! Blue Yeti high pitch noise
I think the suppliers are depending on the Yeti users not talking to each other. "Does your Yeti fail ACX AudioBook because of that whiney noise? Mine does, too!" "Hey, wait. Mine does that!!" "No foolin'? I wondered about that stupid noise." And etc. We know what it is...
