I did. It's lovely. But that doesn't tell me how you got there. I'd be struggling with a main track, fill track and tricky envelopes.

Re: First track fine, every following track distorted!
You're not overdubbing, are you?
Are you listening to track one while you record track two?

Re: First track fine, every following track distorted!
You only get a "new" Audacity if you delete the preference files. Just reinstalling Audacity doesn't reset it. Desktop > Go > Go To Folder... > ~/Library/Application Support [enter]. Drag the audacity folder to the trash. they contain glitches with sonic "breaks" and anomalies th...

Re: Question About Editing
If the show is either a mono track (one blue wave) or two-track mono (two blue waves, but they match) you're stuck. If it's a full stereo track with the vocal in the middle and stereo music left and right, then you may be able to use Vocal Isolation tools. I believe those are experimental, so that's...

Re: Audacity Records sounded like Minus one
We can't work very well without hearing the problem. Make a fresh test track according to this formula and post it to the forum.Perhaps, you could attach a short excerpt (as wav).

Re: First track fine, every following track distorted!
it stutters and distorts You didn't say that earlier. Stuttering is a very different problem. That's machine resources. The machine can't keep up with the work. I used to regularly get one of the supervisors out of trouble when he asked me, by closing a few thousand things he left running in the do...

Re: Is there a way to remove clap sound
How?you will need to spend a bit of time getting things lined up correctly
I just dragged the clap and Control-L reduced it to flat line. Doesn't change the show length a bit. Putting different sound in that hole is a lot more involved.

Re: First track fine, every following track distorted!
You can get distortion if you're not recording from your Yeti, but instead recording from SoundFlower or some other program that allows recording from the internet. In that case, you would be recording the new voice plus the old one doubling the volume into distortion. You might also get that if you...

As near as I can tell, Voicemmeeter has fader controls to push one audio signal anywhere between left and right you want.

Re: Is there a way to remove clap sound
I thought I was going to be able to do fancy-pants things with Noise Reduction, but it's just not enough. So I did it by hand with Control-L (attached). I don't suppose you can use that? If you're clever with cutting and pasting, you can fill the holes with actual music and nobody will ever be able ...
