Surely Out of Luck. Yes. We warn people when they post samples for us to review or assist, not to supply patched or filtered works. We can't take out most of the filters.

Re: Echo Cancelation
Can you shoot it again? #1. The Four Horsemen of Audio Recording (reliable, time-tested ways to kill your show) -- 1. Echoes and room reverberation (Don't record the show in your mum's kitchen.) -- 2. Overload and Clipping (Sound that's recorded too loud is permanently trashed.) -- 3. Compression Da...

That came out well.... de-click and EQed.flac
That's only three extra filters and effects on each chapter. This in addition to the ACX tools. The robot is still out there lurking.
I think I need to sit down for a minute.
On my chaise lounge.

Re: Passing the ACX test, BUT does it sound any good?
I would try and shy you away from the Rode NT1a, it's just far too bright and harsh sounding. The NT1-a is incredibly bright. I own a pair and actually kinda like them for drum overheads, but they're next to useless on vocals IMO. So that's two easy-to-find votes plus cyrano. That's scary isn't it?...

Just to cover it. You are speaking into the yellow dot, right? This is a side-address microphone. Not the top, not the sides and not the back.
It's a cousin to this one, except this one is upside down. Doesn't make any difference.

I want to hear what happens after she slumps. Does she still gather sea shells, or was that someone else? Some volume setting and gentle compression. See attached, last sentence. But it still sounds sharp and brittle. Can you hear it? Sharp, tight, piercing "S" sounds? I got your work to p...
