Re: Cleaning up vinyl rip with weird distortion
That's Academy Award-winning wow and flutter. That's a regular turntable with a bad drive system, worn out rubber or dragging support, or a cheap USB turntable. It's burned in, you can't fix that in post production. We recommend almost always to get the old turntable down out of the attic and fix th...

Re: opening audio
WAV files are limited to 2GB or 4GB depending on where you look. It's a file format limit and isn't something you can easily fix.
Koz
So that's a problem right away.weighs in at around 7 Gb.

Re: Applying Chains to .AUP Project Files?
either the entirety of the current project or to selected audio files in a single directory. So the way I read this, you can only apply a chain to all the tracks in a Project , not a bunch of Projects. I don't know any way to automate File > Export > FLAC [change project] Repeat. That doesn't mean ...

Re: Adapting this mike
Did you try to get Effect > Vocal Removal to work manually, without the automation? If you can, then it's just making sure Vocal Removal is in the Chains supported effects list. [Searching] Which it appears not to be. Shucks. You might be able to do it manually, except that I don't see Split Stereo ...

Re: Simple Noise Removal and Compress Dynamics Tutorial
I like the publication, but it does suffer from off-board instructions and tutorials (such as mine). It's out of date, seriously so in the case of Noise Removal which doesn't exist any more in favor of Noise Reduction. Too many people were expecting Noise Removal to, you know, remove noise, which it...

Re: bitcrushing?
Can you point to a sound you like? Address? And then point to music you would like to convert. Any non-gamers are going to be lost by game and data buzz words.

Re: Adapting this mike
There is a YouTube tutorial about how to do this, but the comments immediately filled up with people who couldn't make it work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqDvcNCAFZE This guy seemed to be doing a lot more work than a simple size adapter. For those whose Microphone is not working after followin...

Re: Adapting this mike
I only bring that up because if you have a multiplexed stereo microphone like Mid-Side or one of those instead of straight Left and Right, you would have an omni-directional element and a cardioid element inside the microphone head. If you speak into the rear notch of the cardioid element by acciden...
