I left out the patched clip.

Re: Help with buzzing, don't know what else to try
I wonder if we're listening to the same thing. I captured "That is the maximum quiet, more or less" clip and it has very little buzz and hum. I got very quiet noise floor by filtering out everything below 20Hz. Low pitch beyond audibility—doesn't affect music. The clip after that, "Do...

Re: noise which i can't remove or reduce it.
I got the clip to pass ACX without notch filters (attached). The two tones are pretty quiet to start out and slightly stiff noise reduction pushed them beyond audibility given the voice is normal volume. They're both still there if you crank the volume up. These corrections only work in Audacity 2.1...

Re: Setting ACX parameters.
I've been looking for that. I have the old original version. The first one that was useful.

Re: My Audacity as Stopped Working !
Have you filled up your hard drive?
Start > My Computer > C:\
I'm not a Windows elf.
That's a common problem on the video forums. Someone will post that they made no changes but the computer started acting funny and losing work.

Re: Eliminate room reflection?
Yes. Ian is currently the longest thread on the forum 39 chapters and over a year. His initial success was with a Snowball and a padded closet. I'm reasonably sure he's using a different microphone and he may no longer be using the closet. I don't know. He didn't answer the last time I asked about i...

Re: Eliminate room reflection?
How would one do that? [sitting in the edge of his seat, pencil and paper ready]The next step would be to record the impulse response of the room and to develop a counteracting filter.

Re: Verdict on the settings for new Noise Reduction?
The generic noise reduction series of 6, 6, 6; 12, 6, 6; and 18, 6, 6 has been found to work extraordinarily well on voice/audiobook productions. Sound damage can't be heard in normal speech and most importantly, ACX can't find it. As has been written, other productions such as music and mixed perfo...

Re: Low frequency roll-off for speech
LF-Rolloff can be used in nearly 100% cases where 100Hz would be used, but 100Hz doesn't hit the design criteria of LF-rolloff. That and you can make 100Hz and High Pass Filter is also available. LF-Rolloff has the heavy lifting baked in for voice presentations. It would be nice to be able to stop c...
