Re: Marking mistakes while recording
At the risk of making this more complex than it needs to be, many announcers just make a very loud noise. Anything that goes into overload will stand out against the recommended voice announcing volume. https://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/AudacityVoiceSampleScreen.jpg You can automatically make ...

Re: Can my noise floor be fixed or am my screwed?

Re: Understanding Waveform and Loudness
I always seem to get these "I've never seen that before..." scenarios?! Maybe, but there's a difference. You don't seem to be trying to do anything weird. You're just doing regular production tasks. The fun posts are from people who start out, "I run my MacBook Pro underwater and the...

Re: Soloing tracks
Shift+U will turn Mute on and off. I wonder if there's a way to combine those two in a Macro.

Re: Understanding Waveform and Loudness
whyis the amped version going into orange and red? The colors are not a guarantee of sound damage. They're a warning. Audacity has a couple of those. The timeline has View > Show Clipping . If you perform too loud, Audacity will place a red bar in the blue waves at the event. https://www.kozco.com/...
