There are quite a few reports online about the internal mic on Mac Book Pro only working while Dictation ...

Re: I can't record voice along with track using built-in mic
Macs have no natural ability to record themselves. There is no "Stereo Mix" like there is on Windows machines. So any Mac can record your voice by selecting "Built-In Microphone," I'd be surprised if you got the music to record at all, and even more surprised if you got both at o...

Re: Recording Mic & Decks Simultaneously on Audacity
Did you keep the receipts for the podcaster? You were supposed to buy an analog microphone such as the Shure SM-58 rock band microphone and a rock band mic cable (attached, below) to plug it into the front of the Pioneer over on the right where it says Mic-In. If you don't do that, you can force the...

Re: New technology giving me headache.
The purpose of the Recording Latency adjustment is to mess with the recording process such that the new track and the original tracks line up when you play them back. However, his software still runs perfectly under Audacity 2.1.0 and I use it once a week.

Re: Recording noise getting worse... not better
I would like to pull this out with a "Click Here and Everything Will Be OK," but all your symptoms point to a hardware problem of some sort. Microphone, Cable, Computer. I did think about this later and it could be your voice is the right volume, but the microphone noise has increased. Vol...

Some effects auto-select and some don't. recording through an old pair of Beats Studio Are they plugged in to the Lexicon? You could be listening to both the Lexicon local monitoring and Audacity. Re: Audacity problem : recover data
The original ones should be in chronological order, but it's certain they will not be in alphabetic order. Correct me, but the file stamps do not go down to secondstemporary files left are not in chronological order anymore.

Re: Microphone
My impression is the Scarlett delivers two channels (stereo) whether you want them or not. Last time I tried, Audacity would not connect to a stereo device while set to mono. It's possible newer Audacity will. It's also possible Scarlett software drivers could make this possible.
