Re: Extract percussion from song
I have a file that consists of Vocals + Percussion. Is that an MP3 or internet download? If it is, then that file doesn't exactly match anything else, and an exact match is what's needed to get cancellation. Further, Apple Lossless isn't completely perfect, either. You don't need to go to a bunch o...

Re: Record system sounds and mic
You don't need a second computer and all the other stuff to record a voice. Attached a voice test I did with an Olympus WS-823. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=1026108&gclid=CJfU7OW6mMkCFU1cfgodGVIBLw&is=REG&m=Y&Q=&A=details I clamped it to my mic stand...

Re: How do i make this effect
Phasing? You can get that effect by making a copy of the sound (main and copy one above the other) and change the speed of one very slightly. As they play, bands and groups of tones will add and cancel giving that wooshing through a tunnel sound. You may have to mess with Amplify to keep from overlo...

Re: Removing isolated sound from original track
You should probably think of what you would do if we can't fix the show. You appear to be in violation of #4. The Four Horsemen of Audio Recording ( reliable, time-tested ways to kill your show ) -- 1. Echoes and room reverberation (Don't record the show in your mum's kitchen.) -- 2. Overload and Cl...

Re: Latency
Self-recording the click track is never going to give accurate latency values. It will always be missing the delays in the headphone and microphone systems.
Then when you put human musical reaction in the mix, it's going to get even worse.

Re: Removing isolated sound from original track
There's no attachments. If you could identify the sounds enough to isolate them, why didn't you just press delete, or maybe use that as the profile for noise reduction? You can't use cancellation if you only have a similar sound. Cancellation is tricky and it fails more often than not. The two sound...

Re: Sample and Bit Rate Confusion
24-bit, 96kHz is the sound specification they would use for Adele 's next album at Metropolis Studio in London. Works are recorded like that so they can be extensively filtered, produced and mixed down to a final album without losing any of her original acoustic quality. They also have Digital Audio...

Re: Record system sounds and mic
There is hope for VoiceMeeter. That program actually produces custom sound channels and bundles them into a single device. As I recall, the only down side is the single show file. If you miss the sound balance for any reason, you're stuck. No way to pull the show apart into individual voices and fix...

It could also be said that the person at the far end running the game should be recording The Whole Thing with FRAPS.
