Win10 has the same problem. I Believe Audacity 2.1.2 should support both. (I'm not a developer).

Re: Extracting Binaural Beats from audio
There is one significant note about these systems. DO NOT use MP3 anywhere. MP3's very reason for existence is to delete subliminal sounds. If you downloaded any of these works or clips via MP3, then they no longer have any of those tones and frequencies. And there's no good way to test for them eve...

"brain entrainment". And with that one phrase, you slid gracefully into the region of Subliminal Enhancement. Our objection to these systems is not that we can't do them, it's that we have no tests for them. We have very specific tests and procedures for the vocal readings by someone want...

Re: Can't Find USB Audio Codec
I paid $1 for it Which may have been overpriced. But need about 200 albums ripped first. And judging from the comment postings, you have about a 60% chance of succeeding. If you have that many albums, don't you have a regular turntable there somewhere? You can get a "real" phono preamp an...

Re: Can't Find USB Audio Codec
I think it's a little odd having something simple as a phonograph require special software/drivers, but there it is. If the system won't load and run the software, it's possible Vista is not supported. I would go over your product information again very carefully and make sure you know exactly which...

Re: Making an awkward transition less awkward
You probably don't. The movie people do a video bumper to get between them and the club DJs do a clip segue, where they stop one song dead and then start the new one. Not all songs lend themselves to graceful cross fading.

The first step I did was reduce everything to mono. Select the first track by clicking just above MUTE. Tracks > Stereo to Mono. Do ...
