If you call the engineer and they say it was 48000, then......full stop. We stand around looking at each other drinking tea. You can try Effect > Change Speed or Effect > Change Pitch, but those tools add distortion. It's much more likely just changing the sampling rate will return the performances ...

If you have an analog amplifier that has a phono preamp in it, use that. This device can be switched to straight line-level audio to digitize the amplifier's corrected show.

And that's not to say it's impossible. There are software packages which can isolate certain sounds, but most people want entertainment quality music or performances when they get done, and the software won't do that.
