Re: First Time User
Yes, it is a USB audio device as confirmed by Amazon. If you can hear the sound then most of the hard work is done. Connecting can be magic, particularly as you found, the software name and the hardware name of the same thing can be different. This is the graduate level course and covers everything,...

Re: Fastidious images on VLC after conversion

It is impossible that i'm the only person that have this problem It is, yes. I don't have viruses on my pc Because you scanned it? We...

Re: [newbie] How to extract multiple segments from audio fil
I don't think there is any provision to do that. Delete "everything I don't want" is dangerous. One wrong move and your show goes away. Isn't there an "Invert Selection?" One of my editors can do that. Labels became more important than you would think because particularly if you'...

Re: 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 Won't Launch
2.1.0 and 2.1.2 are really, really different. We can't see you and the only things we know about you are what you type and the flavor of how you type it. Accuracy is good.I meant 2.1.0 and 2.1.1! Sorry for the imprecision!

Re: [newbie] How to extract multiple segments from audio fil
save the sections as separate audio files in one go using "export multiple" Yes, and that's assuming you plan to open all the exported files in a fresh Audacity later and do the post-production tricks. That does work. Depending on how many raw, pre-production files you have, that will giv...

Re: need help..
Just uninstalled and reinstalled You should know that re-installing Audacity doesn't reset Audacity. Close everything. Go > Go To Folder > See attached. Go there. Drag the audacity folder to the trash. Close. The next time you open Audacity, it should welcome you as a fresh, new user. Note this wil...

Re: Converting WAV to MP3
I know I have to convert the WAV files to MP3. Where did you hear that? My Apple machines play WAV files just ducky. You'll get a lot more music on the i[something] in MP3, but I don't think that's a requirement. I have WAV audio test files on my Apple Touch(s), iPod, MacBook Pro(s) Minis etc. No i...
