Re: Replacing one labeled audio region with another

There is an automation process in Audacity called Chains. http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/chains_for_batch_processing_and_effects_automation.html http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/edit_chains.html ...but I don't see Environment, Select, Copy, or Paste. I know the edges of a region are magnet...

Re: Noise Reduction/Removal

Turns out the clear days are when you're slightly buzzed on Chablis. Even worse would be the invitation from the local school for a lecture about your announcing secrets.

Warm lemon and honey?

No, more like Domaine Louis Moreau in a large glass.

Re: Replacing one labeled audio region with another

[_] Manual Edit [X] Auto-Edit OK I don't know of any way to automatically edit random tracks like that. The program would have to "know" what the script or story was and have built-in theatrical timing and rhythm. There is an up side. We can't take a mixed performance apart into individua...

Re: Utilisation de marqueurs avec Zoom h1

Le Zoom H1 créera diffusion des fichiers audio WAV avec le temps . Audacity ne comprend pas de diffusion WAV .

Re: Audacity and Yeti Microphone

You can have magic here. If you have an older machine or worn USB connections, the microphone could vanish for no apparent reason. The actual, electrical reason, of course, is the ratty or dirty data connection dropped for a split second and when it came back, Audacity was already looking somewhere ...

Re: Playback thru Apple TV - but not with Audacity?

The Audacity setting can be different from the machine setting. Use the Audacity Device Toolbar to set the destination.

http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/de ... olbar.html

All the available devices should be listed there. If they're not, that's a different problem.

Re: Garbled Audio

I deleted your hitch-hiking post from the other thread. We would strongly like to deal with problems on a one-off basis. There's nothing quite like three forum elves trying to answer two different problems in one post. "Wait, are you the one with the heat problem....?" Right now its very h...

Re: Garbled audio in playback with Macbook

Is there a certain amount of space I am looking for in the activity monitor? What you're looking for is an application taking up terrificly high values in the % CPU column. That's not to say that Audacity will always be completely blameless. You can install plug-ins and effects from third parties a...

Re: Garbled audio in playback with Macbook

Audacity doesn't do that, but other applications do. (From memory) Go > Applications or Utilities > Activity Monitor. That will give you an idea who's taking your system resources.
