Re: No waveform activity. Whatever I try.

Is the Zoom in interface mode?
Exactly correct. Mine will not 'feed forward' unless I intentionally set it to that.

Plug the headphones into the Zoom. I bet it's silent.

Re: Mixing in Differen BPM's

Effect > Change Speed has the same effect as goosing the large speed slider on a 1200SL turntable. Tempo has to rip the music apart and put it back together again with a different beat pattern. Change Speed is much more graceful about it (but the pitch is going to change). You can also try Effect > ...

Re: Garbled audio in playback with Macbook

It's possible, but I thought the buffer thing was for recording where the machine had bad or ratty control over drive/memory during real time demands.

Re: Trying to export AUP to wav

When I hit export audio then I select convert to wav, Right away the first sentence didn't come out right. I think we need to wait for them to come back. Maybe get more of a step-by-step. On the other hand, this could be a zombie post establishing an active account for later. Tell me that doesn't s...

Re: Audacity exporting issue

The first issue might be the version. There is no 2.11. How many files did you open at the same time? All of them? Audacity might be complaining about hardware memory, not hard disk space. How much RAM have you got? Apple > About This Mac > Memory. But you should deal with the version first. Koz

Re: No waveform activity. Whatever I try.

RCA/minijack from Zoom output to desktop input. I don't know you'd need much support to plug an analog sound cable into your sound card. This should be pretty simple. The Zoom isn't playing music to its analog output. I used to have a way to touch your earbud plug into the end of the sound cable, b...

Re: Trying to export AUP to wav

Oh, one more. Don't put any punctuation marks in the export filename. Trying to put a dot in the export name may mess things up.

Re: Trying to export AUP to wav

You don't actually convert an AUP to WAV. You open the Project by double clicking the AUP file. Audacity will use the AUP's text instructions and the _DATA folder to recreate the show or Project in Audacity. Then you File > Export Audio: WAV (Microsoft) from the open Project. That's when you walk aw...

Re: Slim down the Click Track interface

Here. I made a sample (attached). I got my metronome out of the Hardware Archive (garage). That's 120 beats Per Minute according to the single speed dial on the front. The other control is On/Off. According to the conversion table on the bottom, that qualifies as a Presto half-note. I believe them. ...
