Re: Need a little help with setting up a Chain
It is recommended you get your existing system working correctly and predictably before you start comparing equipment.
If you think of it, pass the equipment list through the forum. We can give you notes on operation and shortcomings.
Also Google "complaints."

Re: Compressor function
Chris was interesting because his design process was upside down. He started with a clear goal and worked backwards instead of starting with a kitchen cabinet of tools and effects and working forward. If your application was similar to Chris (mine was) you plug it in, turn it on, maybe adjust slight...

Very few peo...

Re: Compressor function
I'd like to compress these audios so they can be listened to at `low volume´ on the PC speakers. That was almost exactly Chris's goal, except he was wanting to listen to opera in the car. I use his compressor to "level out" a podcast where the two performers have wildly different volumes....

I don't need the little gray rectangle in the middle with the red and white RCA connectors. That's the stereo to U...

Re: Pink Noise
Here. I thought I had this around. This is an illustration of an analog video machine and later digital one. Note the digital one stops at 0 on top and has a marker at -20. That's the approximate broadcast translation point for 0 VU.
