If you press Stop and then Record when it's in the second set, you will get a third set of blue waves. You can prevent th...
Re: heading
You maybe working too hard. Audacity default export format is WAV. Stereo if you have two blue waves married as stereo on the timeline. It's not unusual for a posting service to convert a sound format from what you supply to what they want. In that case I would start the process with the highest con...

Re: Help.......Recording Gongs
The part number should be about 120mm long tube with XLR-Male on one end and XLR-Female on the other (attached). Plug that into the recorder and plug the microphone cable into it. In the case of close-miking a very loud gong, it will prevent the very loud signal from overloading the recorder. If you...

Re: Serious drift problem during podcast recording
What are they doing now? It's remotely possible they have a clear bottleneck that can be fixed. There are technical minimums to doing some of these jobs, and no, you can't fix everything in software. You got a significant boost when you found how well this technique can work with everybody else in t...

Re: Help.......Recording Gongs
The loudest portion of the performance has to fit in the recorder. That's where you can get into the most trouble the quickest. If the room "sound" is attractive to you and valuable, then certainly record from the back. It's possible one of the powerful gongs is resonant with the room and ...
