If you made the show and saved the project, then the _DATA folder may still be on your machine. Audacity will not search all over for it. You should use the Windows search tools to find it and then move it so that it's close to its AUP file. If the show was shot by someone else and provided to you, ...

If you're using Sample Tank inside the same machine that's running Audacity, you might try setting up the machine so Audacity can record "sound playing on the computer," and not use the file system at all.

That will prevent you from hearing those tracks during overdubbing.Or mute each new track.

Maybe on your machine. On Macs double clicking opens the Project.the only way to open an AUP file is File > Open

You have two problems. The swishing and talking into a wine glass, sure enough, is echo cancellation, sound error management and noise suppression. The actual human voice back there is so far off mic that it's missing all the crisp, clear bits needed to make out the words. It's all MMM, NNN and AAA....

And you may not need anything else. Post the traditional ten second raw test clip and let's see how far off it is. As you noticed, this combination's noise is much quieter than the other system.
