Re: Single Wave from a voice

There's another idea. This is a monolog "This is the shopper audio test." as a full waveform and then again with the bottom sheared off. Print that one and carefully trace the tips of the upward peaks. I tried it in Photoshop and it didn't work because I don't have a stylus. One of the sou...

Re: Cannot launch Audacity on HP Pavilion Windows 7 Premium

Reinstalling Audacity doesn't reset Audacity. On Windows, you can elect to reset preferences and settings during the install process.

What does it do? Exactly how does it behave? Do you get any error messages and what are they?

Re: Balancing levels

which is what it was intended for Correct me, but loud noise/hearing hazard measurements are all in "A". All of which makes it particularly important to used an appropriate meter to gauge acoustic phenomena. I wondered why nobody creates an alarm that sounds like a baby screaming on a jet...

Re: Balancing levels

I want to minimize differences in Loudness/Volume across individual WAV files as a factor. The step after that is most important. What are you going to do with these files? The instant you play one to an audience you involve the speaker system and its characteristics. Do you have a Sound Pressure L...
