Re: Adding Cover Art & Meeting I-85 Compliant Needs
Anybody remember IHFS? That was an audio amplifier power rating based on whatever the manufacturer's needed to look good, usually one single peak of power based on very high wall power voltage and low humidity. You could make some pretty marginal amplifiers look terrific with this rating and it was ...

Doing this in printed text is a lot like driving a very large truck via rubber bands on the steering wheel. The path wanders.

Re: Recording Levels
There seems to be a significant difference in audio quality with different settings on each level control- I don't think this is a "normal" noise/overload volume problem. You should not be able to tell if you do simple volume changes. They should be completely transparent until you reach ...

Re: Record 2 independent inputs simultaneously with ZOOM H4n
Can you show in the instructions where the H4 will act as a four-track USB device? My instructions go on for pages how you can use the four tracks internally for special effects and production. Re: Audacity crashes whenever I use my external mic
Are you connecting through an adapter to a Thunderbolt port?
Which OS-X? I'm typing on a Mini under 10.9.5. I use Audacity 2.1.0, even though it's not current.

Re: converting a Wav file to music notation
Not that I know of. That's where MIDI does its thing. Audacity has almost zero MIDI management. There is an insanely manual way to do it. I think Audacity can tell you the pitch of one, single musical note. It's up to you to write it down on the staff. Then you analyze the next note. And that's only...

This thing looks massive, but it actually doesn't weigh all that much. It's all plastic pipes.
