Windows 10 updated and restarted my computer.

Can you stop it from doing that? Audacity woke up in a different computer than it was in when it went down. That's really hard to recover from.

The desperation method rescue is Effect > Change Speed. Record something for an exact duration and then time it when it plays back. You can type those time values in the Effect > Change Speed settings.

So you don't have to fix this immediately.
