Re: I dont want to record audio playback
Oh, there is one more. Some fancy mixers have the ability to mix computer playback into the show. Normally, computer or guide tracks would only go to the monitor system so you can play to it, but more than one mixer has a fader so you can add the click and guide tracks to your live performance. I'm ...

Re: Audacity has stopped recording from web
Audacity gets all its sound from Windows (and Mac and Linux). So if the OS isn't delivering sound to Audacity, there isn't much we can do. Maybe they just returned the sound settings to factory and you just need to put them back. http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tutorial_recording_computer_playb...

Re: No audio after publishing in Articulate Storyline
If you think we're both on here at the same time, keep refreshing the browser to reveal new postings (if any). And this all worked perfectly the last time you did it? A WAV sound file in a posting is a little unusual for web work. Did you contact the SMEs? Did they have anything to say about it? Is ...

Re: No audio after publishing in Articulate Storyline
The audio doesn't download, or it downloads but it's silent?but the audio doesn't.
How? If you produced an Audacity default WAV (44100, 16-bit, stereo or mono), that should open anywhere. If you created a custom sound file, then we need to talk.I published it to the web

Re: project data files not found
Then I sent a copy of the podcast to my fellow student. What did the fellow student get? And which won't open? I count three shows. Was there an original AUP file and _DATA folder? So you have Show, ShowVersionOne ShowVersionTwo. The other student got ShowVersionTwo? Does that open OK? Did you reco...

Re: new computer: Audacity adds a high-pitch noise to playb
You're welcome. Please don't go back and change old postings. We don't always go back to the beginning for each response and changing a setting or comment at the beginning of a long posting can cause a lot of puzzled looks. You know that cocker spaniel tilted head thing? "Wait. What did he say....

Re: I dont want to record audio playback
If you think we're both on here at the same time, keep refreshing your browser to see current postings. I'm almost out of ideas..... The delay or echo means it has to be a computer playback entering the system multiple times. The first sound is the intended one coming from the Audacity Overdub manag...

Overdub should be the only thing selected in that panel.

Re: I dont want to record audio playback
Sorry. Falling asleep. You can't de-select that because you are actually overdubbing. When you playback your new track, Audacity will play everything that's selected. Click MUTE on all the tracks you don't want to listen to, or SOLO on the tracks you do. Also, if you Export a sound file, click just ...
