The time options have to do with the different ways to measure time. Hours/Minute/Seconds, NTSC Television Frames, PAL Television Frames, etc.

The UM2, as of recent testing, can be configured for overdubbing. So that's not a dreadful I/O device.

You can move the AUP and the _DATA anywhere you wish (keep them together), but don't change the name of either one or anything inside the _DATA folder. Scrambling the names is a good way to kill the show.
