The time options have to do with the different ways to measure time. Hours/Minute/Seconds, NTSC Television Frames, PAL Television Frames, etc.

Re: Exporting Songs
What are you recording? Where's the show coming from? What is the full number of Audacity? There is no Audacity 2. The current one is 2.1.2. You can use the blue waves to steer yourself to the beginning and end of the songs. http://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/AudacityRecording-650w.jpg If yours ...

Re: RMS 35, SOS!
Without directly addressing your problem, there is a new version of ACX-Check which is a little easier to read. It piles the three important values at the top. (illustration attached). http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Analyze_Plug-ins#ACX_Check Thank you for the raw posting. It's valuable t...

Re: How to open a complete audio project
You can move the AUP and the _DATA anywhere you wish (keep them together), but don't change the name of either one or anything inside the _DATA folder. Scrambling the names is a good way to kill the show.

Re: Gameplay Audio Being Fed Through Headset Microphone
Game recording can be a crazy combination of folded-back sound pathways and re-routes. If you have something mechanical wrong with the headset socket in your laptop, there's a terrific chance that the failure is still part of the sound, even though you're using a USB adapter and that's why your reco...

Re: Is there a way to recover lost .aup files?
Audacity project files are intentionally scrambled and not intended to be used without the AUP project manager. If you've been editing or doing production on the show, that's the end of the story. If your projects are straight, simple recordings, then it's sometimes possible to recover the work by c...

Re: No Sound for Speakers
Given you're not recording anything (your original post) you can probably leave it where it is.

Re: How to open a complete audio project
That's the talent of the project. It opens enerything in pieces so you can fix it if you want to. If you need it as a single sound file, open the project and Export one. File > Export Sound That wording changed a bit over the versions. Let us know if you get stuck. You will need additional software ...
