Re: How do I replicate this sound
Is that close enough (attached)? I combined Pink Noise which normally sounds like rain in the trees with Amplify and Noise Gate. Only if the noise gets louder than a certain value does it go through. Then I picked the gate values. From there you can use Equalizer to boost the bass, etc. I thought th...

Re: Remove Reverb and Clicking Sound
The problem will be if the clicks are big enough to leave holes in the sound when they're fixed. Yes, it's more hidden, but then you get "Cellphone Voice." Gritty, and you can't figure out what's wrong, but you can still more or less tell what they're saying, but it's not pleasant to liste...

Re: waveform export on win 8.1
Did you touch the L.....R pan control to the left of the tracks in your editing or production? If you did, you now have a stereo show which is required for panning. All of your tracks should say MONO on the left information panel. Screen Shot 2016-07-21 at 18.01.13.png If one of them says Left or Ri...

I'm wondering if you got Audacity from here? http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/ What's the real version number? When was the last time you did a real stiff virus scan, the one where you can't use your machine for several hours...or overnight. I could not connect it except to limited What ...

Racing posts.
You should fix their system. As above, the de-clicker can damage the sound if the clicking is too bad.

Re: Remove Reverb and Clicking Sound
There is a de-clicker and popper plugin. http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=79278 But that can damage the sound, too. You should really find out why your computer is doing that. Stop all other jobs and processes. If you have USB connections, pull and reseat both ends firmly with ...

Re: Remove Reverb and Clicking Sound
I don't think you have enough room noises or echoes to worry about, but the clicking or popping is a problem.
Describe the system. Microphone, machine, connection type, history (it used to work fine).
Has it ever worked?

Re: Need a little help with a Skype recording hack.
My test podcast suffered from Bandwidth, too. My down is not spectacular, but OK. My up is awful, so the far side (irrelevant for the quality of the show) complained about distortion.
