Re: How can i repair this Audio recording ?
If the goal is just to understand the words, you can help a tiny bit with Effect > Equalizer: Telephone preset. You're never going to make a theatrical presentation out of it. It's massively damaged. Just a note, some of that damage could be the MP3 conversions. Tiny, convenient MP3 sound files aren...

Re: Only part of my audio saved!! please help!!
I listened to it last night and woke up today and both files are only at 4 mins! You opened up the exported file and then opened the saved project and they were 50 minutes? Did you put the computer to sleep or close the lid? Did you stop or shut down the computer? There are systems where the virus ...

Re: Only part of my audio saved!! please help!!
I saved the project on WAV and exported it to audio to have both That's not quite what we said. When you get done with the interview and before you pack up, File > Export the raw interview immediately as WAV and make a protection copy. I still have original raw interviews on backup I shot years ago...

Re: Format Error in MP3 players
good mp3 players with great Amazon reviews. Google: Product Complaints. You're searching for multiple similar complaints with some words spelled wrong. Those are probably real. The players have multiple posts all complaining about shoddy construction and very short lifespan. Some of them barely mak...

Re: Format Error in MP3 players
Right now helper elves across 9 time zones are giving each other puzzled looks wondering what could possibly cause an MP3 player to refuse to play MP3 files—and with an odd error message. As above the thread, "Format Error" could almost be anything. It's a good fuzzy error to display when ...

Re: Only part of my audio saved!! please help!!
I recorded an interview that I did with someone and went to edit it. Right at that exact point you left out a step. I recorded an interview and exported a WAV and put it on a separate thumb drive in case something goes wrong. Not Responding is pretty serious. That could mean pieces of Audacity went...

Re: Format Error in MP3 players
So it's all about money, I knew it!!! iTunes with its licensed Fraunhofer encoder is a free install on Windows and it comes with Macs. Much more likely you are doing something odd wrong that isn't apparent because we can't see what you're doing. Billions of people on earth use both Fraunhofer and L...

Re: Recording with a Roland TD30k SE
We know about the Roland and we know you want an MP3 at the end, what's the computer in the middle?
That kills most people because newer computers don't have very good audio connections.

Re: Help : ( import error
I saved a file then closed audacity It looks like you saved a file, but Audacity will not save sound files, so you really did save a Project. When you did that, Audacity should have created an AUP file and a _DATA folder...somewhere. Where did you find the AUP file you posted? The _DATA folder shou...
