Re: bug in 2.1.2 error in attached screenshot
I set up a multi-track show as an experiment and I too, got a screen full of horizontal lines apparently stuck that way. Re: Upgraded to 2.1.2 and can't import from iTunes
I don't do it quite that way. I drag an iTunes show onto the desktop where it settles in to a stand-alone sound file.
Then I open it in Audacity. Right-Click or Control-Click on the file > Open With > Audacity.

Re: multiple projects or multiple tracks in one project?
We have some experience recording much longer audio products using ProTools We can only comment on the info we get in the question. Most people don't have ProTools. You should be able to produce five minute voice-over segments with no trouble given you already have editing experience. It's just fin...

Re: Slow voice in playback?
That's machine latency and you're stuck with it. If you want to do Perfect Overdubbing, where you hear yourself as well as the backing, rhythm or music track, you have to use equipment or devices that offer "Zero Latency Monitoring." As a rule, you can't listen to the computer. Some USB mi...

Re: Stereo Recording
That just means you squirted a little of the mute right mic into the active left channel. If I pan both mics to center they both record
Which are plugged in where? I assume the mixer sound meters flash independently with the two microphones?clearly heard on the monitors and headphones
