Re: Silent Brass on Windows 10
From the instructions, I would be connecting the Headphones Out of the Studio Suite STX-2 to the Stereo Line In of your computer. If your computer has no Stereo Line-In (sometimes blue), you may need to make one with a Behringer UCA-202 or equivalent. If you're using the Mute pickup only , you may b...

Re: Poor quality and editing wont fix
AUP is a computer program, not a sound file. To create a sound file, select 10 seconds of stereo (two blue waves) or 20 seconds of mono and Export > WAV (Microsoft), 16-bit. Do not put dates or punctuation marks in the filename. Send that. trouble with the editing of audio. Don't be fuzzy. We do muc...

Speaker Test
Someone will correct me, but that's B0.
That came down as a television broadcast yesterday 2016-11-16.
The theme has other, similar notes, but I think that's the lowest.

Re: General help adding keyboard parts to pre-existing track
I don't have any experience with using the MIDI functions. Would you recommend that as a better option than trying to record directly with the splitter cable? MIDI may not be as useful as you think. MIDI is not sound. MIDI is machine control. If you did connect the USB cable, it might go something ...

Re: Need help interpreting mastering feedback from ACX
I can hear you asking yourself, "Wait, ACX requires submission in MP3. What's wrong with this picture?" ACX requirements are 192 quality (or higher) MP3 and highly recommended in Mono, not Stereo. This quality is far higher than minimum for listening on your Personal Music Player and will ...

Re: Need help interpreting mastering feedback from ACX
record each chapter in its own file (1, 2, etc.), edit the .aup files Audacity Projects are "brittle" in the sense of being easy to damage if something goes wrong. The AUP file is created last, so if you close the lid on your laptop at the wrong time or Something Happens at the last secon...

Re: Recording Blue Yeti & Skype?
Chase was a poster a while back who managed to regularly crank out a successful Skype podcast with Audacity. That's one in a row. Most people get what you got. It gets almost there but is missing a piece. Neither Audacity nor Skype Play Well With Others. Sometimes they tolerate each other just enoug...

Re: General help adding keyboard parts to pre-existing track
Most devices like the AudioBox are not mixers. Whatever you plug into #1 becomes Stereo Left and there isn't much you can say about it. So to get actual stereo, you need to split the music into left and right and use both connections. You didn't say where you were getting the Yamaha sound from. Does...

Re: Need help interpreting mastering feedback from ACX
Quick comment while I have a second. edit the .aup files Those are dangerous words. You are not editing the .AUP file. The .AUP file is the Project Manager for your Project. It's text-based, semi-English computer programming, not sound. This is a Project. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/MyMusicAU...
