Re: absolute time of recording
Still there. See, I wasn't joshing. My radio only picks up the 15MHz broadcast and I live in a festival of overhead wires and electrical interference. But still. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WWV_(radio_station) So, you put that as a mono recording on one Audacity track and you put your work on the ...

Re: Need help interpreting mastering feedback from ACX
I don't need any of those. I'm a dot-com. But that's for outgoing. I'm not going to shlog thru the whole thing. I'm going to look for common symptoms, conditions and errors. Some, like wandering RMS generally only happen over the course of a chapter reading. And then there's the single gunshot thing...

Re: absolute time of recording
There are silly/stupid ways to do this, too. Record a radio tuned to NBS Fort Collins. "National Bureau of Standards, Fort Collins, Colorado. When the tone returns, the time will be Four Hours, Thirty Minutes." Boop.....Boop.....Boop If they even still do that. I know there used to be a Ca...

Re: absolute time of recording
Sound Activated Recording only activates when the sound is there. You can't use the trigger to start and then tell it to record the next ten minutes. SMPTE is not a dreadful way to do this. Re: Export to AIFF (Amiga)
I can't either. So that's an Undocumented Feature. Will your Amiga play a WAV? You might be able to use the Amiga tools to produce an IFF. Or even an AIFF. All these tools just rearrange the header and support information. The basic sound stays the same.

Re: Speaker Test
In addition to the obvious, how much of that is your shirt moving? I really need to plug in the cans. I have Pro 4AAs. I think they're supposed to do this. I wish those things didn't weigh as much as a Land Rover.

So you did or didn't get it to work? I can't tell.

Re: Clip fix
No. I stand corrected. I got odd clipping, too. I wonder if they issued the album like that.
Clip Fix reads terrific on the tin, but only has a limited effectiveness in real life.

Re: Clip fix
Clip Fix uses the surrounding work as a clue to what could be missing in the clipped segment. If everything is smashed to death, the tool hasn't got a chance.
My iTunes download doesn't look like that. Where did you get your track from?
