Re: Audacity 2.1.2 problems with LAME library recognition
had problems with it Such as what? Audacity puts plugins, add-ons, modules and software in places separate from the program. The idea is to let you gracefully upgrade Audacity without needing to reinstall your whole world again. You have a simple job but anybody in theatrical production can have mu...

Re: Audacity 2.1.2 problems with LAME library recognition
You only need the Lame software to create a new MP3 file, but there are reasons to create other files. MP3 always creates some sound damage and you can't stop it. Better to make perfect quality WAV (Microsoft, 16-bit) files of your music and then make MP3s from that. You can't back up. Once you make...

Re: Track Alignment Help
You could just sheer off 12.041 seconds at the beginning of track four. That portion of the show was going to vanish before zero with the Time Shift Tool anyway.I'd like to move the sound in track #4 so that the bell in track #4 sounds at 30.902 seconds

Re: I need help with my Audio
So there's another version, and before you decide which is best for you, it's good to have quality headphones or speakers. If you can't hear the same things we're hearing, it's rough to adjust or know what you have Further, if you change anything such as get better soundproofing or a different micro...

Re: Improvements to various effects
Being able to have multiple spectrum windows open at once would be valuable. I do it with a screen capture and display. Desperation method. DeNoising has the advantage that everybody knows what a half-tone screen looks like. Audio noise tends to be a good deal more free-flow. Your ability to do cont...

Re: I need help with my Audio
There are three different correction suites in the posting so far. Which do you like? The goal is not automatically apply lists of effects, filters and corrections. It's to record your voice clearly with the least work. Which sample do you think comes closest? I have twice now recorded a spoken perf...
