Re: Help! Blue Yeti high pitch noise
I've been trying to buy a Yeti on the cheap by bidding on eBay, but even the beat-up ones get pushed up beyond my budgie. As a practical matter if you have The Yeti Curse (data whine), it's fatal. We've never found an external device that can be added which will reliably suppress the noise. I think ...

Windows sees your extended notes as "hum and interference" and is trying to get rid of them to "help you." If you were in a chat or call, this would be a good thing. But you're not.

Re: Clipping at -6dB, grey screen above and below wave
Does that help? It does, yes. AVID Fast TrackSolo Did you get the driver software? Avid devices are designed to slide effortlessly into an Avid video teleproduction system. When you don't happen to have an Avid, sometimes some of the interface services don't work quite right. I would totally start ...

Re: What is the best way to create tracks recording from an
Most of the work is being done by the physical parts. All you need is a competent preamp (with a volume control) and digitizer and you should be good to go. Did you go down the tutorials for vinyl transfer? http://manual.audacityteam.org/ Scroll down to TUTORIALS. Most of the right-hand side of that...

Does it work like that? http://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/LaptopMicIn.pdf What's between your voice and the computer? In detail with part numbers. Newer computers have a single socket on the side instead of two like in the illustraton, but the result is the same. It's not a generic audio connec...

Re: I need help with my Audio
Also could you help me sound like this please. Probably not. He has different natural voice pitch than you do. Most of the quality is the same between the two performances. I think you should go with these simple corrections for a while and get used to producing the video. I applied a custom loudne...

Re: Audacity 2.1.2 problems with LAME library recognition
Audacity checks for new connection when it starts. If you plug something in after Audacity starts, it won't automatically see it. Restart Audacity or Transport > Rescan. wasted my whole morning There's nothing about this process, either cassettes or vinyl that's quick, convenient or easy. The only w...

Re: .aup file reference and .wav instead of .au
Certainly. Audacity can Import and Export (not save) WAV (Microsoft, 16-bit), Stereo or Mono. Audacity doesn't save sound files. You're probably wondering what all those little AU files are. Those are part of an Audacity Project. They're not all sound files.... http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/aud...

This is where you have to get the Linux systems to help you and it's the exact place I go hide in the corner.

Re: I need help with my Audio
I have to post the steps how I did it. I tried to make it more firm and louder without damage or changing the natural quality of your voice.New-Raw-Audio-volume-patched.wav
But I need to go back to my notes how I did it.
