The Yeti Pro has an XLR connection on the bottom. Are you trying to use both the USB and XLR connections at once?

Re: timeline stuck at 0
Audacity does that when it fails to get data from the device. It's odd because the Yeti has apparently announced itself OK. Has it ever worked? Did you just get the microphone out of the plastic wrap? Ummmm. If you plug your headphones or earbuds into the bottom of the Yeti, can you hear yourself sc...

Re: error loading up project
They have to be separate like that. It doesn't count if you put the aup file inside the _data folder. One of the Get Out Of Jail cards mentioned further up the message thread is to put the aup file back where it was. Is that possible? Once Audacity and the project opens, you can make copies with oth...

Re: error loading up project
That's a project. That's MyMusic Project. That's as small as a project ever gets. You have to have both parts.

Re: Snap/click/pop sounds
I had that in my test voice recordings. It sounds exactly like shuffling across the carpet quickly and touching the microphone on a cold, crisp day. The development people have a thing they call "Moon-Phase Error." Sometimes, when the humidity is just right and the moon is on the waning qu...

Re: Help! Blue Yeti high pitch noise
Since all this hole-poking is happening right in the exact middle of the ear's maximum sensitivity range (~1KHz to 4KHz) I would expect to be able to hear that filter working, further, this is a post-production solution and the poster's applications include real-time tasks. The phrase "Yeti Cur...

Pull and replug both ends of the USB cable. When the connections settle down (the MUTE light comes on steady), restart Audacity. If still no joy, try setting Audacity for Stereo instead of Mono. The Yeti is a stereo microphone, or can be set that way.

Re: error loading up project
Search your machine for your show name followed by _data. Move that to the desktop along with your aup file. If you have a normal Project, double click the aup file and the show should open.

Re: Help! Blue Yeti high pitch noise
Crossing the headphone out of the Yeti with the Mic-In of the computer can give you headaches. You may end up running the headphone volume right at the very bottom of its range so as not to overload the computer. That and the computer's Mic-Pre has never won any awards for good, quiet operation. If ...

Re: Help! Blue Yeti high pitch noise
There is such a thing as Yeti-Pro. At double the cost, they probably filled in all the technical holes that the plain Yeti had. We've never had a complaint about one of them.
