Re: Removing click track
So it's probably something in the way I have the Mackie set. The only good way to listen to the backing track and you at the same time (perfect overdubbing) is to listen to the mixer or interface with headphones, and have a mixer which supports that. Some mixers have two buttons for this. [X] Mix t...

Re: Audio is really tinny and quiet - please help urgently!
Which microphone and how is it connected to the computer? What kind of computer? Laptop? It's never worked, right? Modern Windows comes with a whole shed of settings and configurations you have to deal with for quality recording. Do you have wired headphones? Quiet, echo-free room? That room busines...

Re: Hissing from Yeti Mic suddenly started and won't stop
Minor difference between hiss caused by a bad microphone setting, bad adjustments, or mismatch in sound levels; and trash caused by a bad connection. You have connection trash. Close Audacity. Look around to the rear of the Yeti. Do you have it set to cardioid (heart-shaped). Switch it to the other ...

Re: Trim and Automatically Reposition
Oh. Right. Yes, I've run into that. That's a lot more fuss. You want the inverted DEL key.I'm looking to keep what is selected and reposition it.

Re: Poping/Static - not my equipment?
This one's my bet. Go to Control Panel/Network and Sharing Center and from the left hand window open the Network Adapter Settings. And chose your connection to which you are connected, open it and there you'll see its properties and status. Click on “Disable” to make it disable. Now your System wil...

Re: Poping/Static - not my equipment?
As a fuzzy overview, your machine is taking a coffee break every so often and leaving holes in your show. Mess with the machine. Make it better or worse. If you can reliably change the damage, it will be a big help. Busy out the machine. Open up a bunch of applications and see what happens. Make a r...

Re: Poping/Static - not my equipment?
Referencing the Sampling Monster Under the Bed is fun and all, but we need to find another reason. That's my UM2.

Re: Im needing some help
That's really damaged. How are you recording that? Microphone? Interface? I don't think you're going to get to good audio with effects and filters. Your recording system is broken.
