I think it's this posting.

Scroll down to manual recovery.
The AUP and the _DATA folder are very much a married couple. If you did that to an edited production, the chance of rescue is zero. As it is, it's not zero.

Re: Recovery of Audacity Project
Is the Project a raw, unedited capture, or after production, corrections and editing?

Re: Outputting via one Audacity & Recording in the other
There's a trick to that. You make a loop until it's long enough. VLC thinks it's playing a minute loop. The minute is really 6, ten-second pieces jammed together in Audacity pre-production. Change the numbers as appropriate.

Re: Outputting via one Audacity & Recording in the other
Either the playback or the record will have to be in another program or machine. Audacity will not run two different instances of itself doing two different jobs.

my old CD stash What's the music? Head-banger Rock? imported them with CDeX Are you sure you imported the work digitally with CDex? Did you have any other cables between the player and the computer? The blue waves have the signature of a very common analog error. Can you say the reason you're conve...

Re: Trying to hook up my PA system to audacity
We'll go with the Behringer. There's no pan controls, so it's a mono amp. I would probably start with one 1/4" to RCA adapter and plug it into the Main Out. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/Adapter-QuarterInchToRCA-650w.jpg Then an RCA "Y" cable to split the mono sound to Left and R...

Re: Need to fix reverb in recorded interview
There is one other insane way to do this. You have a second computer join the conference...but it doesn't have a microphone. Its sole job is to record Skype. From its point of view, the Skype sound is the whole show. We did that for a while, but people kept forgetting to start it....and then stop it...

Since we can't see your computer, where else would it go?

Re: Need to fix reverb in recorded interview
But, no. I think I remember what happened. I couldn't figure a way not to turn it into a class on sound recording. This doesn't boil down to two graphics and a comment. I have a Peavey PV6, to answer you. I've been shooting paid gigs with it forever, so it was a natural. It might not be the best one...
