I don't think Galaxy Dog posted an example of fully corrected work. So if you're listening to an early sample, yes, that has some significant problems.

And just in case that didn't come out right, Select one sound track by clicking just above MUTE. Hold SHIFT and select the silent track by clicking just above mute. File > Export Selected Audio.

How about we do it at 44.1?

Audacity > Edit > Preferences > Quality, Sampling, 44100, 16-bit.

Audacity always works internally at higher quality, but then, when you export...

File > Export Audio: WAV (Microsoft) 16-bit.

Generate a silent track somewhere in the show. Make it start at zero time and be the longest thing in the show. Then Select your target track whether it starts at zero or not and the silent track . Audacity will smash them both together when you export, effectively putting "silent" in the ...

I guess it's worth the research. The goal is music recording with minimal distortion. MusicMemo turns off all the voice processing and tools. It would be surprising if they produced files with intentional distortion.

I think as a first order of business, I would select the work, one track at a time if needed, and File > Export Selected into their own WAV files. WAV (Microsoft), 16-bit, Stereo (or mono depending on the work). Drag-select, the active blue waves, don't select the whole track by clicking just above ...
