If you plan to use two different songs, then the rules change. Then you will need the fancy-pants crossovers, etc.

Re: How can I remove lower frequencies whilst still hearing
Yeah, that popped up almost immediately. What kind of amplifiers are you using? Do you want both volumes to go up and down with one knob? I think much of this post is overkill. Feed wide-band sound everywhere. The woofer strapped to your back won't respond to the higher frequencies and besides, you ...

Re: iphone 4
Even if you do get Audacity to open up your iPhone video (which I think it will do under certain conditions), Audacity can't put the corrected sound back into the video. You need a video editor that can speak iPhone video format. Do you have a video editor like that? If you do, you may be able to ge...

Re: Can I remove the whitenoise live with Audacity?
Can I remove the whitenoise live with Audacity? No. Audacity will not apply filters, corrections or effects in real time. Noise Reduction is even worse because it's a two-step process. There is no generic Noise Reduction. Ive evaluated that 66% of the microphone sound is noise and just 33% is voice...

Re: 'Error opening audio device' using WASAPI and usb headse
I recently wanted to record some audio Which audio? Game audio and commentary? You wandered several times in your question. Recording The Speaker may not work if you're not using a speaker. Speaker sound is pretty simple compared to a USB device and it can get complicated if you're using a USB Head...

Re: Latency Error Correction
Which latency problem? You can't listen to the computer while you record. Machine latency will just kill you with delay and echo. It is recommended you listen to the microphone or interface device. http://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/peaveyUCA202Lenovo-650.jpg http://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/p...

Re: Room Noise Floor -59.6DB Argh!
Note there is a seeming contradiction in overload. Audacity has an internal format that makes it very difficult to overload by high volume. One of the newer AudioBook process suites intentionally causes a touch of overload with the assurance that it's easily corrected and not permanent. As long as y...

Re: Room Noise Floor -59.6DB Argh!
Keep in the back of your mind you're replacing a studio and recording engineer. Those jobs didn't go away. You're just figuring out a way around them. Home recording can give you certain contradictions. It's a terrible idea to keep a noisy computer in the room with you. It's a terrible idea to recor...
