Re: Slim down the Click Track interface
I'm on to it koz I'm not complaining about speed of execution or development. I'm perfectly clear how hard this stuff is. And that brings us 'round to the best way to listen for quality review in the field. I carry everything for these hikes on my back, so while I think those "Hollywood" ...

Re: to have tempo effect detect before then set it music to
You're getting a lot of puzzled puppy looks because what you want appears to be impossible. There is no changing the timing without changing the tempo. They're the same thing. So back out to plain English and tell us what the goal is. "I want to review song dialog without sitting through the wh...

Re: Slim down the Click Track interface
From archival memory, the objection I had to the original click track was it wasn't a click track. I needed a actual, simple click track and it was a career move trying to sort how it worked. What's wrong with this picture? Once a Rhythm Track is designed and produced, whole worlds open up. Select y...

Re: Removing echo and enhancing audio
Whole worlds open up when you don't have to constantly fight noise and echoes. Would you like to fine-tune your voice with equalization, maybe a little bass boost, perhaps a little crisper? OK. You don't have to worry about room rumble or fan whine getting in the way when you do.

available in flame-retardant Which, correct me, is only important if the install is permanent. That's one up side of the blankets and wood. I did the compulsive measurement and triangulation thing where any stick can be used in any position for any size room. One of the Forum posters also used blan...

Re: Vocals recorded over "karaoke" track are off
That's overdubbing. Adding new music or voice overlaying existing tracks. There's a process in Overdubbing setup where you cancel timing problems—recording latency. After you make that adjustment (and assuming your machine doesn't move around), each new track should line up with the old ones. http:/...

Re: Help recreating this kind of robotic voice
I suspect the first thing we need to address is your normal voice. The sample sounds like a small child. If you're a 48-year old male smoker, we can't help you. But past that, I think I would try Effect > Vocoder. http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/vocoder.html But more to the point in this specific...

Re: Horrible Noise Um2
What is the microphone and how long is the microphone cable? Is it one single XLR cable like this? http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/XLR-Cable-500.jpg What's the computer? What's the three-digit Audacity version number? Do you have an older glass computer monitor? (connecting headphones) the noise ...
