Audacity doesn't do anything while you record, so if you're looking for a recording limiter, you may have to look somewhere else.

What's the job? Sometimes we can get it that way. It's not useful when somebody posts with detail analysis of the tools...and nothing else.

They don't in spite of multiple requests. However we use flat noise measurements and readers are successful. I expect more crash and burn failures if our weighing didn't match.

All these tricks only work when the voices are separate during the exchange. If they like to interrupt and step on each other, that's the end of the world. A side note, last check, ACX Audiobook uses X weighing for noise, not A, so the background noises are more troublesome than it looks from the published specifications.
