Re: Audacity 2.13 windows 10, pitch/sound recording problem
Audacity 2.13 I hope not. We don't make a 2.13. If it is 2.13, then you have a bogus version. http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/ I tried reinstalling a fresh version of Audacity The Windows installer has an option of resetting the preferences and settings. You should select that to reall...

Re: Audio loss in the middle of a recording
You don't even have to listen to it in real time. My iPod will naturally play works at double speed and Audacity has variable playback speed with that green arrow and slider on the bottom row.

Re: Audio loss in the middle of a recording
A long test recording doesn't have to be client sound production. You can set the whole thing up recording a portable radio for two hours — several times.

Re: Audio loss in the middle of a recording
I know everyone is going to immediately invite you to Audacity 2.1.3, so I will too. I don't expect this to solve the problem, but support for earlier versions starts falling apart. http://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac/ You can get chopping like this if your machine goes into App Nap. Here's a m...

Re: Converting music CDA file to mp3 or .wav
Another thing Music CDs do to conserve as much space as possible is leave out song titles. If you do have correct titles, it's because your computer went on line and looked them up. It didn't find them on the disk, and it doesn't always get them right.

Re: How do I export tracks in sync?
a little to the left to compensate for latency We assume it does that when the Overdubbing option is selected. If you don't select it? We may be solving different problems, but correct me, that suite won't help at all this this show. Screen Shot 2017-06-22 at 13.59.00.png The poster did mention exp...

Re: How do I export tracks in sync?
I see steps 1 thru 4 are graceful housekeeping, but I don't understand how step 5 solves the problem of exporting a correct track of a multi-track show if musical sync was achieved by Time Shifting the desired track, for example, several seconds to the right (later in time). The global long silent t...

Is there such a thing as having a patch of "nothing" in the middle of a line?

Re: Sound Track doesn't meet ACX Req.
ACX has their own requirements for Room Tone and silences. That's only the requirement to get the ACX Check program to work. Go a little over. Half-second is a drop-dead minimum.

Re: How do I export tracks in sync?
Create a silent track longer than the longest part of the show. Select that track and your target track > Export Selected.
