By the way, if you mixed the two tracks together, you're dead. This only works if the two tracks are on separate blue waves. We can't split a mixed track apart into separate voices, instruments or sounds.

Re: First track ok, 2nd track is 1 octave lower on new Windo
And will I be able to fix the recorded lower tuned tracks? If you mean repair your existing track because it's the only one you'll ever do, select the track by clicking just above MUTE. Effect > Change Pitch. That might not work if the performance is one octave off. That can correct a note or two. ...

Re: How to isolate voice in a 2-mic setup
I use furniture moving pads. http://kozco.com/pix/partiallyConstructedWall.jpg For paid recordings, I use two pads, front and back. I have enough stuff to make an 8 foot box "studio." One poster did it with hardware store plastic pipes jammed together. If you're using the table mount and h...

Re: How do I determine Latency Correction value?
If you listen to the Win10 machine, you're always going to hear an echo. That's machine latency. The only convenient way around that is listen to the Zoom instead of the computer. I don't know that the Zoom has zero latency monitoring, but it might. Consult your instructions. All these methods of li...

Re: IMPORT NOT WORKING WITH SONY VOICE RECORDER
I would close Audacity and get Windows to import the files to the desktop. Windows 10 is particular about what it will connect to and import files from. Are you following a set of instructions? Does the Sony px333 claim to support Windows 10? Do you know what kind of files are recorded in the Sony p...

I deleted your email address. It's a terrible idea to post a hot email address on the forum because of grazers, harvesters and spammers. It's a good way to wipe out your address.

Re: Screen shot
To the right of the red Record button, you turned on the Envelope Tool (two white arrows and bent blue line) instead of the regular "I Beam" cursor.

Re: Help with sound recording
MXL 2003 Without digging knee-deep into the instructions, the microphone almost certainly has to have 48 volt Phantom Power running. This is the Behringer mixer with "funny" phantom power. https://musicgroup-prod.mindtouch.us/04_BEHRINGER/XENYX-_Do_The_302_And_502_Have_Full_Phantom_Power%...

Re: Monitor voice recording with earphones
You lost your Mac and now you're using a Windows machine. You're listening to machine latency. Your voice is coming out "one computer late." The only way I know to work around that is plug your headphones into your USB microphone or USB microphone adapter. http://www.kozco.com/tech/audacit...
